Chief Fire & Rescue announce the new "Brush Buster" custom brush trucks without the custom pricing. Port Jefferson Fire District is the proud owner of LI's first.
This F-550 has a custom pusher bumper with winch receivers front and back. large compartments on each side of the water tank along with compartments under the platform. The pump is a CET 26 hp diesel with a Scotty foam system. The tank holds 400 water and 10 gallons foam. A complete custom bar system was designed and installed under the direction of the Department.
The Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department has recently put in service twin Predator Top Mount pumpers. Built on the KME Predator X-LFD cab these 2 engines is equipped with a low hose bed, and numerous features to enhance the safety and effectiveness of the crews.
The Nissequogue Fire Department has taken delivery of this Predator 4 x 4 custom pumper. The cab is configured as a X-MFD with seating for 7 (6 SCBA seats). It is powered by a Cummins 400 HP and a Hale 1,500 single stage pump. Some of the features include high sides both sides, 12K winch in the extended bumper. The rear compartment is set-up with TNT hydraulic rescue pumps with mounted reels. The pump panel makes extensive use of FRC Flowmeters and a Pump Boss for controls. One discharge line is set-up for foam operations.

Chief Fire & Rescue would like to thank the Flanders Fire District and it's members for the recent delivery of their new KME Kenworth T-800 LE 3,000 gallon Elliptical tanker. It features a 1,200 gpm Hale pump, portable tank in a rack, Fireman's friend intake on the rear tank bulkhead. A large water level gauge tower is mounted on both sides of the tank. This is another example of quality, and value without the custom pricing!!!!!
